Advil contains Ibuprophin. Tylenol has acetaminophene. Asprin and Tylenol should be ok. Just avoid the Advil.

GENERIC NAME: ibuprofen
BRAND NAME: Advil, Children's Advil/Motrin, Medipren, Motrin, Nuprin, Pediacare Fever etc.

If you had a reaction to Ibuprofen you are allergic to all of these and should avoid them. Instead try aspirin, Aleve, Anaprox, or Naprelan - these are NSAIDs and will be better tolerated and less likely to cause reaction.

To be safe, take tylenol (acetaminophen).

They are different chemicals, so your body will react differently to each (negatively or otherwise).
