Boil lasagna noodles till they are almost done. Brown hamburger in skillet. Add spag. sauce of choice. In 13 X 9inch or bigger dish, smear some sauce on bottom. Add a layer of noodles side by side. Then add a layer of meat sauce, then cheeses of choice. I like to use shredded mozz, an itialian blend, and maybe a colby jack. Another layer of noodles and repeat. Top with cheeses, I sprinkle a little parm cheese on top as well. Sometimes I substitute the ricotta(cuz I don't like it either) for a layer of cottage cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 45 min at 350 degrees. Take foil off and bake for 15 more min.

This is much easier than the more complicated recipe and is just as good.
Ingredients
1 pkg Lasagna noodles
1 Medium jar of spaghetti sauce
1 bag Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 bag Shredded Italian mix cheese
2 lbs Lean hamburger meat
Garlic Salt
Preparation
Cook lasagna noodles according to directions on package. Brown the hamburger meat and a dash or two of garlic salt.
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix hamburger meat with spaghetti sauce and put thin layer on bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Add layer of pasta noodles.
Add layer of spaghetti sauce mixture, mozzarella, Italian mix, then noodles.
Repeat until dish is full. Ending with a thin layer of cheese.
Bake for about 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
Cook's Notes
This recipe is highly customizable. We sometimes add different cheeses or don't add the hamburger meat.

Here's my standard lasagne recipe:
1 box lasagne noodles (I like Ronzoni)
2 lbs hot Italian sausage
1 16 oz box Velveeta Cheese
4 cups shredded Italian cheese blend with parmesan
1/2 onion, chopped
1 28 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/3 cup good olive oil
3 T Italian Herbs
Saute sausage and onion until cooked. Drain. Add herbs, pepper and tomato sauce. Add olive oil. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Slice Velveeta into 1/4 inch slices. Cook 16 noodles and drain. Layer as follows:
Noodles
Sauce
Velveeta
Italian Cheese
Make sure you end with sauce and cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until bubbly. Let sit for 15 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!

This is a recipe I created through experimentation. I knew a woman who always asked me to cook it for her, she said she had tried lasagna from here to Italy and it was the best she had ever tasted. This is a recipe that makes enough for a large family gathering!
1 package of lasagna noodles
1-1 1/2 jars thick spaghetti sauce
1/2 chopped green pepper
1 large chopped onion
1 large container Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
2 cups Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
2 eggs
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1 large package (3 cups} fancy shredded cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1 lb. Italian sausage cooked and chopped
1 lb. ground beef cooked and chopped, then mix meats together
2 cans of mushrooms slices
Sauté onions and peppers in butter or olive oil.
Combine Ricotta or cottage cheese with eggs, Parmesan cheese, cracked black pepper and parsley.
Cook noodles rinse in cold water, drain and separate, set aside, preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large deep non-stick baking pan, layer bottom with spaghetti sauce, about two cups. Next, place a layer of noodles, then sauce until lightly covered, then a thin layer of Rictotta or cottage cheese mixture, meats, onions and peppers, and mushrooms, sprinkle remaining cheeses in layers, one on top another.
When you lay your last layer of noodles, place a thin layer of sauce and (make sure you have saved enough cheeses for the top) over the layer of sauce layer cheeses with the mozzarella on top, bake at 375°F uncovered until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
