If you were the President on 9\11, what course would you have taken? Assuming you would receive the same information from your advisors during the months following the attack, try to imagine yourself in the Oval Office. Would your path be the same or even similar? Would it eventually lead you to Iraq? Try to be realistic and honest.

Are you talking in regards to the War on Terror or the War in Iraq?? Since the War in Iraq had nothing to do with 911 I'll address that one. I would have been more secretive about our plans to invade and then invade early to keep Saddam from hiding the WMD. He had too much advance notice.
In regards to the War on Terror which resulted from 911, I'm cool with the progress.

A great chance to gather the world around the idea of being against terrorism was lost. Instead the only path that seems to justify 9/11 was chosen. The terrorists could have been fought in Afghanistan. I'm pretty sure Iraq was just a step towards making the war against Iran easier, unfortunately it went wrong.

Wow, what a deep question! I would have sent the marines in to take Bin Ladan and Hussein and not publicized what the plans were.
It amazes me that the american people keep demanding to know what the president is going to do in Iraq. We don't need to know becaus if we know, they know...

quiet hit on bin laden maybe even let him settle down for a little before it. no wars, maybe aggressive cia actions and order the cia to stop trying to overthrow govts and getting us involved in the first place.
