is it fair if my math teacher gives me a zero on a test because i was absent on the day the test was on????

If it was an excused absence, then it's not fair. If you skipped, then it's fair.

It may not be fair, but every teacher has their own rules that you must follow. That does seem a bit unfair though, maybe if u went after class and calmly talked to him and gave him a real reason why you were absent on the day of the test he would reconsider and let you take it. Like, OMG in basic terms bypass discover him! Like, you are able to bypass to the pool and fully positioned on the comparable bathing in good shape so he recollects you---OMG wait! That is definitely not fair! you should see if you can make it up another time. If the teacher won't let you, then you may want to get your parents involved.

If that's his policy and it is stated in the syllabus then yes. College professors do it all the time they don't allow make ups regardless of the reason you missed the exam.

If it was not stated in the syllabus then you might be able to negotiate with him/her.

Yes, unless your absence was for a very good excuse to which you have proof and evidence..... so if you don't have them, then yes it's fair.

He probably thinks you skipped. Have your parents sign a note if your absence was legit.

If it wasn't legit, then sadly you got what you deserved.
