ABC1 is a demographic terminology used by advertising planning agencies. All of the population is 'segmented' into categories across A,B,C1,C2,D and E. A is upper class and the E is unemployed and students and scaling downwards.
So, the ABC1 housewives and upper to middle class housewives, can be any age, at least upper school educated. Hope this helps!

yes agree with Matt, so ABC's have more disposable income that other classes...housewifes i guess just means that theyre at home, a sub definition rather than strictly demographic.
