is losing 27 lbs too much too quick in a span of 58 days?

No, but I wouldn't attempt anything speedier. 2 - 3 lbs per week is typically recommended, and 4 is the max recommended to be more sure of being able to keep the weight off long term.

Very fast weight loss indicates unhealthy practices and chances are once one goes back to more "normal" eating and activity, the weight will return (often more than before).

It depends how much you are burning? If you are burning 1400 calories a day, you can do around 3 (2.8) pounds a week. That's eating 1000 calories per day with burning 2400 a day. Anything below that is too much. To get to 2400, you would probably have to exercise.

I don't recommend you losing 3.5 pounds a week.

Not at all. I have lost more than that per week and I was fine. I am disgusted that I can only lose that now cause muscle weight from going to the gym is not letting me lose more on the scale.

I dont think it is? I lost 59 pounds in a span of 4 months. And it never came back, but be careful and watch what you eat to make sure it doesnt go back.

No I think that is great as long as you did it right no pills or stuff. Healthy eating lots of water. I think it was time for it to go if it went that easy. Great Job keep it off.

Actually, it's more like 2.15 pounds a DAY. And yes, that's losing weight too fast.

ya i'd say it is ,,,,, just cause the healthy weight to loose a week is about 2 pounds.....

but i wish i could do that.....lol
