Not sure why you would want to be homeschooled and miss everything else that goes on in school. Your dad has his reasons and your mother should discuss this with him before she goes against him to home school you. Maybe he has good reasons to keep you in school. Talk to him and give him really GOOD reasons why you should not go.

You need to take the PSATs before you make that decision. It's not more important that your Mom gets along with the administration, than you getting what you need out of your high school years to be successful in college. One of my siblings was home schooled, and he really struggled in college. He finishes this year. He's 26, and he started when he was 18.

Go on-line and get the facts about homeschooling. Get as much positive information as you can. Einstein was homeschooled, as were many people today. You will have to take your homeschooling subjects seriously. Homeschooling isn't to be entered into lightly. As long as you can go to your local library and have access to a computer for information, you will do alright.

i was homeschooled for like 6 years. i learned a lot though. i never went to a real school. except now that im in college. and i think it's more fun to be in school when you're a freshman. and why don't you like going to a real school? ask your dad if you could do it for like a year.

good luck..

Well...just talk to him...tell him that being homeschooled will help with family time...spending more time with each other. My parents homeschool...they thought it would be best for me and the way I learn and comprehend certain things. Good luck.

Homeschooled...well, I'll be graduating soon!
