Go to the body shop!

They have a fab range of body lotions, all very moisturising

You could try:
Vitamin E body lotion
Cocoa Butter body lotion
Aloe Vera body lotion (good for soothing skin)
Any type of their body butter - I personally love the cranberry (christmas exclusive) and brazil nut ones. These are a tad on the expensive side but will care for your skin well.

Or try going into boots and finding some shea butter, that's also good.

Or of course there is the Vaseline Intensive Care - which is okay, but I've seen the ingredients and am not liking what I see. Does smell good though!

The Skin Wisdom range at Tesco's is inexpensive and effective. Produced by Bharti Vyas, there is a variety of moisturisers for different purposes, but, I think, the Skin Wisdom Instant Beauty Balm is brilliant for all types of skin and can be used on the face, under eyes, the neck and the body. These products are often on offer at Tesco's and are really good value - the majority are well under £10.

Yeah, Palmers Cocoa Butter. I use the lotion now and it keeps my skin soft, but I used to use the solid version in the tub when I was younger and had drier skin.

Also found that Body Shop's Dry Oil sprays are very good. Different types for different skin. The Olive one is good for normal (or summer-time for me) and the Coconut is good for drier types. And smells lovely too!

Maybe you can try to use essential oil such as Jojoba Oil.

Jojoba oil is not expensive generally, and it is very healthy for your skin. Just use it like a body cream and massage your body with it. You may also explore some other functions of Jojoba oil for hair and scalp.

I like to use it once a week or whenever I feel like it. Hope this will help!

I reckon I've tried most things on the market, in your (our) price range, and by far the best, and the only moisturiser I use is, Vaseline Intensive Care. It's available in several sizes, the largest of which is under £5. Try it, I know you'll like it!

Got to be Palmers cocoa butter, you can buy a lotion version, or the actual 'butter' which is semi solid but melts into your skin.
The Body Shop body butters are great but they are £12 a tub if they're not on offer, and the Palmers stuff lasts for ages.

well i have to agree with quite a few of the others who suggested nivea it is by far the best moisturiser ive tried i had terrible dry skin on my face arms and legs and nivea can be used all over its cheap and you dont have to apply loads of it to feel the difference i use it morning and night and my partner is thrilled with my silky skin on both face and body. hopefully it works for you too!!

I use Champneys, their range can be found in Sainsbury's, they have a few different ones to choose from but all are great and cost around £8. I found that cheaper ones didn't really do the job, but I can't afford the Dior anymore - sadly!!!
