There's this guy in my class who I'm attracted to. I'm not really sure how to read him. I've seen him looking at me a few times and when I enter the classroom he looks at me and smiles. He sits next to me but about 5 desks away. When were sitting down I'll scope him out but I don't catch him looking at me. I caught him one time glancing at me. I turned my head and caught him quickly turning his. One of those type of deals. So I started watching him more to see if I could catch him again but I haven't lol. It's usually only when I enter the classroom. He never says anything to me. He never makes gestures that he wants to strike up a convo or anything. He just looks at me and smiles lol. I'm not really sure how to take that? When he does make eye contact with me I kinda just turn away because I'm not really sure how to take it? Could it be that maybe he takes that as I'm not interested? Maybe I don't come off as approachable? Or maybe he's thinking the same thing I'm thinking?

Should I strike up a conversation with him or just wait for him to approach me?

Or should I just start making more eye contact instead of turning away lol and see what happens?

Take the leap girl!! Just chit-chat at first, so you can 'feel' him out. Do it with confidence though. Be brave!! If later you find yourself at a point where you'd like to ask him to go on a date or something and he rejects you and tells you he's not interested - buck up, and shake that off. Rejection builds character, even though it can be painful at times. My guess is that he's just as nervous as you and he's intimidated by you (your beauty and brains).

GO FOR IT!!!! Nothing to lose, just something to gain!!!

I think you should just start talking to him one day and see what happens.
