Last weekend I and my bf went for a little travel.
We've seen each other for 6 weeks.
He arranged the whole thing, it was a surprise for me.
So he paid the hotel rental, car rental fee. quite good hotel, so I think quite expensive. But I didn't how to say I want to share the fee with him. So I just paid for some dinners.

Should I share the hotel rental fee after the travel?
PS: we are in Pairs, and both have good jobs.

my wife takes me out on dates where she pays for everything and i take her out on dates where i pay for everything...

on "even years" I go all out for her on valentines day and she just gets me a card and some chocolates and then on "odd years" she goes all out for me and I just get her chocolates and a card.

It lets her splurge on me and at the same time gives her the feeling that she's not constantly living on my dime.

maybe you could tell him the next time you go out it will be completely on you and you do all the work and planning for it.

Since this was a surprise for you from your boyfriend and you go in on the hotel fees this is like helping him purchase your birthday or christmas present.

i'd say no. if he couldn't afford it he shouldn't have planned it. sounds like he can, though. he wanted to do something nice for you, so accept it graciously. . . lucky! :)

wouldn't hurt to do so,don't make it seem you need to though, but as adults you must at least chip-in cause its seems greedy if you don't!
