My farts don't smell great. They don't disgust me either. If you think your farts smell great, you are probably a weirdo.
But I'll tell you someone else farts which bother me even less then my own: my kids fart (3 and 6 yo) . And I am telling the truth.
So you see your generality does not hold up.

LOL. I wouldn't say my fart smell great, but it does smell less disgusting than other people's fart. Great question. A star for you ;)

I agree that my own fart smells better. Probabaly because I like the kind of food I have ate and I have gotten used it the smell in my own digestive track. Mine almost always smells like beef & onions. lol!
I think it's our evolutional instint. Other people's fart is perhaps not sanitary and maybe harmful to us. So we're programmed to hate it.

Now that you mention it, yes I do prefer the smell of my own MOST of the time! Sometimes, though, like when Ive eaten some really nasty food or not gone in a while even my own really STINK! If I eat well, I would describe the smell of mine as "pungent" or "earthy"!!

I can honestly say that even I can't stand being around me when I'm having a major flatulence-fest. I can also honestly say that my wife's farts usually don't smell at all (but they're noisy as all get-out). Guess it's a good thing my wife has nasal polyps...

It comes from you and you who smell it, so it makes no difference...inside out...all the same

are you all the time smell yours great?? if that then what the heck you are eating.?? or you might need to see a doctor for your nose problem!!

Because everyone loves the smell of their OWN brand. I'll admit, I find a sort of perverse satisfaction in stinking up the bathroom but when I walk in on one that already has been virus bombed..I turn up my nose and think "Thats disgusting." People are fickle and self absorbed, thinking their Sh*t does not stink, when in fact it does...we just like that smell.
