Just off the top of my head I do not remember all the ingredients in V-8 but if I am remembering correctly that it is just basic vegetables a little taste is OK. You may want to call a vet or an animal shelter and confirm that it is OK. That is a good thing to do any time you are not suire if somnething is OK for your cat.
She may smell something in the V-8 or carrot she thinks her body needs. Just put a drop on your finger and let her sniff and taste it. If she likes it let her have a few more drops. I would not give her small pieces of raw carrot because they are hard and could get stuck in her throat but small tastes of carrot juice or cooked carrot or a carrot she can chew on like a chew bone would be OK. Cats do like a lot of things we don't think they would. Almost every cat we've ever had has liked pizza and spaghetti especially the sauce. A stray we took in begged and begged when she saw me with a sub and to discourage her I offered her a tiny bite of green pepper. She loved it! She would actualy eat the green pepper before she would taste the ham or cheese or bread. This same cat also liked cantalope. Do not feed her anything that is very sweet even though she'd like the taste because it can upset her blood sugar balence. And while we are taklking about things a kitty shouldn't have they should not have asprin or tylenol because it ythins their blood to whee they will bleed inside and may die.
It may also be that what the cat is saying is whatever you have I ought to have some too. Cats can be like that. Offering a small taste may cause her to turn her nose up or threaten to burry it. Sometimes this is a compatability plea sometimes she is saying hey I am boss here and nobody eats unless I eat first. That is called dominence. She could also be saying hey hey notice me hey hey I'm here, pet me, pay attention to me, Me-now. Your "baby" sounds like a kitty who knows her place is to train her person well and teach you what she wants you to know about what she likes and wants. I always smile when I hear about a cat like that because they generally have a very haoppy home .

I'd avoid giving her the V-8, but the carrots might be OK. I have a friend (elderly) who is a naturalist and could be classified as a "Medicine Lady" has a cat and makes a mixture of mackerel and carrots with a few other veggies and rice. Never feed a cat spicy foods like onions and garlic. Chances are good they wouldn't eat it anyway. What ever you do, NEVER FEED MILK TO A CAT! Kari R has one of those strange kitties! Hey, when we first got our oldest cat Spook, she ate absolutely everything including peas and brussels sprouts! Wouldn't touch onions though.

Cats are allergic to onions and garlic. They have an acid in them that is sometimes deadly to cats. Since V8 is a vegatable drink then I would not give her any. They say that anything that is a root like an onion is not good for your cat.

My cat does not want any people food except if I am having potato chips. As soon as I put some in a bowl, he comes right next to me and trys to get one with his paw. I break off a tiny piece and put it in the floor, he loves them . I think its the salt. But this is once a month he will get maybe 1/4 of a chip. That is the only thing he is interested in . He loves his Innova dry cat food .

I don't know if there is any onion or garlic in the v-8 juice or not. If there is I would not give her any. I think the carrots would be good for her though.

I had a male cat that loved tomato juice. My vet told me that it was good for male cats. The acid helps keep their organs clear of blockage. Any doubt always call your vet.

V8 might be too spicy. Probably cause the cat box to stink. Your cat is bothering you because she wants your attention, not your beverage. She has no idea what you're drinking, she just knows that you are focusing your attention elsewhere and she is displeased.
