Is it a bought CD if so it probably has a wright protection on it. This is so it makes it harder for people to share the music. I think real player is not picking it up.

If it is a downloaded song try a different file.

Try wiping the cd, sometime dust and stains get on the cd and just need a quick whipe.
Is the cd bought? If so it should work, if not go ask for a refund.
If it is burned it could be an improper burn.
Try re-burning the cd with a different blank cd

Delete WMP11 from the administration panel & upload/eliminate icon. Re-get carry of WMP11 from Microsoft replace internet site, once you bypass to the positioning do a particular 'WMP11 get carry of' seek, get carry of and re-set up. during the installation make confident the document varieties you like MP3, WMV etc are ticked, then all the ticked document varieties substitute into default for WMP11 after the installation.
