There is a reason why the doctor tells you no vaginal penetration for 6-8 weeks. You can become pregnant right away and don't believe the myth that if you are breast feeding it acts as a birth control because it doesn't. My sister was breastfeeding and had another baby 11 months after the first one so beware!

It is wise to give your body time to "recover" from the last child. However, it is possible that you can become pregnant right away. If you are nursing, the chances are slim to none that you will, but that is not birth control... My advise is to enjoy your first baby for a little before deciding that you want another. If you do want another, it will pass, it's just baby syndrome...

It depends on a lot of factors. If the child is nursed by the mother, then somehow nursing acts as a form of birth control, preventing pregnancy. It has to do with (evolution) ensuring that each baby is taken care of well nurtitionaly before the next one is concieved. But there is no 100% guarantee there. I'd say as soon as your period returns.
Best of luck

It is possible to become pregnant again immediately after, in rare cases. You wouldn't even know it if your period hadn't gotten back to normal yet. You can get pregnant on your very next cycle after giving birth so make sure you plan birth control with your doctor.

You can get pregnant as soon as you ovulate. Most women don't ovulate for at least a month after giving birth.

As soon as you ovulate again. Don't believe the stuff people say about not becoming pregnant if you breastfeed, because it's not true.

As soon as you ovulate again. For some people that happens within 6 weeks and for others not until they stop breastfeeding.

Straight away, but it is recommended to wait at least a year because it takes your body 12 months to get back to normal
