I do know there is a way of dissableing this but cant remember how,can any one remind me please.

If the update involves files that are currently open, then you will need to restart to update the files when they are not being used.

Restarting is importand besides it takes only 2-5 min for restart
dont try to use that time......u cant disable it

Make sure you don't have any other files open when running AVG
