What is a good lunch for a 16 year old girl. It should be something that can be in a paper bag and won't get gross after hours of not being refidgerated. The school lunches are very greasy and unhealth. Any ideas? I would be very appreciative.

There are loads of things you (or anyone who "takes their lunch" to work or anywhere) could take for lunches.
Most of which exact ones would depend on how much work you want to go to, what you have access to, what you like to eat, and how much time you spend thinking about it or finding out about possibilities.

Here's one good site that has a number of recipes:

and there are a lot more in these links:

This is one of those things that you can really learn to do well if you have the time/interest to devote to learning and figuring it out. . . . and it can be really fun too.

P.S. Congratulations on realizing that your school lunches leave lots to be desired... sounds like you're the kind of person who could do very well at this!

I would suggest possibly a salad, and pack the dressing in a seperate smaller container. Veggies always tend to hold up well, and there are packs of tuna that come with crackers, mayo...bastically everything that you need and they don't need to be referidgerated. Tuna is a great source of energy, and some carbs will help keep your brain awake. You can always buy the blue gel ice packs, or pack some ice in 2 freezer bags to keep stuff cold. Lots of water too!
