I've been looking at several answers on here and it seems like a majority of the women on here swear a man that has done them wrong can't change. Like they'll say "once a dog, always a dog", "once a liar always a liar",etc... If a man is truly committed to changing his life for the better for HIMSELF then why is it so hard for some women to accept and embrace the change and continue to lable him for what he's done in the past?

I love my ex and have gone to extremes to change my habits, both good and bad. She says the same thing, that I cannot change my ways. I have proven to her that I can and have, but she is still afraid that I will go back to my old ways. I hate that old saying "Men never change." We can and do all the time. Just being around a woman does that. Cavemen dragged women around by their hair and ancient warriors raped and pillaged. If we don't change how come we don't do that anymore?
I feel your pain, man. We know we can change, what happens is women(and men) are attracted to certain types. Guess what? Those are the type that do the things they say we can't change. They need to change by learning to trust people more and seeing the fact that if someone truly wants to change they can.

Because we have heard that line before more then once. Actions speak louder then words. So make your changes and then find a good woman. I gave my ex a chance and all I got were 8 years of lies and HPV from his sorry ***. The HPV is now gone but because of him saying he's changed he never has and more then likely never will. You are who you want to be. If you want to and have changed you need to be looking for a higher standard of woman.

Because these men are rare.....I, for one, have never seen a man change dramatically. You are who you are and in my experience, men who cheat and lie continue to do so. I can think of one man why cheated, got caught, worked things out with his wife and they are still together 10 years later.....he is a rare gem. If these types of men were more common, women wouldn't feel the way they do.

Women are more emotional and they take things harder then MOST guys.
Honestly, a lot of us just hold a grudge for waaaaaaaaaay too long.
Not all women are the same though. Just like not all guys are. Don't be put off by the bitter ones.

Because that's what their "bra-burning" mothers have taught them to believe!
If you know you are changing to better YOU then don't let anyone stop you. One of the best revelations in life is looking back and thinking "wow, I did a good job with ME"!

because ppl find it hard to get ov er what someone did dem in the past. i think men can change but until dey do want to change dey stay d same.

For me I give them chance after chance and still the same way.
I mean everyone should get a 2nd chance but not 4 and up.. so that's how i feel..
