How can I let him know I want to be with him too? He`s asked me to be his girlfriend but I didn`t answer him right away, because I didn`t know what his intentions were. Now I am pretty sure he is a good guy and that he is interested, after all he keeps sending me messages, but I feel he is being more careful as if he was afraid I would reject him. How can I let him know I want it too?
I have never had any intention of hurting him, that is why I waited with my answer.

That just how some guys are. Believe it or not, some men are more emotional than most of the women.
In this case, just don't make him wait anymore :)

Guys are afraid of rejection because they don't want to feel ugly they have to be a big shot all the time. Tell him you want to be with him or you really like him or he will back off soon and stop trying.
