Have you ever tried a shore lunch prepared from a fresh caught 2 1/2lb walleye that was filleted and fried? I like them the best. They melt in your mouth.
Good grief just thinking about it makes me hungry.

It is a toss-up between a Greenback Cutthroat trout and a Brook trout from a cold, fresh, high-mountain Colorado stream.

the best in my opinion is the speckled perch or known as crappie. i live in florida and have had some of the northern fish but a crappie is hard to beat. there must be a reason that a million crappie fishermen come to florida every year to load up on them.
