So where are those WMDs?. If they had been shipped out or hidden, where are they?. Can you or the CIA present evidence that proves they are now with Iran,Syria, or any other country?. And if they are now with Iran, why doesn't Iran give them to the Iraqi insurgents to use them against American troops instead of supplying them with those dumb IEDs?. Is it because there are simply none?.
And what Iraq had to do with 9/11?. Those terrorists who were responsible for it were Saudis. None of them are from Iraq or Iran.
The war with Iraq is because of oil. Those giant American oil companies are solely profiting from it. Unfortunately, that does not include you or the ordinary Americans. Do you expect that these giant oil companies will ever give you free gas or big discounts on gas prices?. No. They intend to make the maximum profit out of it. The higher the gas prices will be, the more profit they make. And you my friend, will still pay for what you have to pay.

How easily the uninformed become more uninformed. Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Nothing at all. Not a single Iraqi was among the 'supposed' hijackers. I say 'supposed' because the question is being asked by someone educated by Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity, and has no clue of history, recent or past.
We are in Iraq because the Oil profits are going to the oil companies, my friend, - all of whom recorded the greatest profits in their history. Prices depend on supply and deman, and OPEC controls the flow, while US and British companies control the rate of refinement. Learn. Read. Think.

The reason why people don't get it is because of all the conspiracy theories that are out there. The lemming mentality of many people is quite frightening to be honest with you. If its in a movie, docudrama, or reported on someones internet blog they believe it! We did find WMD's, just not nuclear weapons. However, that doesn't mean that they were not there when we suspected they were. While we were lolligagging around with the UN and telling the world what we were about to do. Iraq along with the aid of Syria, Russia, and China were able to react to our threats of invasion. Don't stress too much friend. You can't please all of the people all of the time. Only time will tell.

Historically ALL wars waged carried REAL reasons kept secret from the public....and the Iraq war is none different. The depose Saddam/WMD angle used to justify going to Iraq clearly were "smoke-screen" lies--that crumbled embarrassingly in time.
True: we forged first into Afghanistan...then....a major press blackout....and **pop!!**....we're gunning for Saddam in Iraq!! Might be a clue there to pursue...hmmmm....
Republican political rule over the past 20 years aimed for American Mid-East control of the oil flow.....might be another clue there, too. Especially now--when a troop pullout is loudly demanded by the Democrats (now in control of D.C.) and the war's end is a real possibility.
Rising gas prices are fast becoming a hardship Republicans impose on us in anger over Democratic demand the war ends.....NOW.
There's NO solid known evidence Saddam was ever connected to Bin Laden (now presumed dead) or Al-Quaeda. And of course, as always, the REAL reasons for going to war in Iraq are going to be neatly National Security sealed---opened only when our great grandchildren demand to know the truth.

Wrong. WMDs destroyed as per the Gulf War cease fire.
9/11 - an attack by the nexus of terror, Saudi Arabia's al-Qaeda.
Gas prices up AGAIN!?! Hmmm, Iraq oil production lower than pre-war levels.
Duh.

Since '03 the US found about 500 shells containing Mustard Gas and Sarin Nerve Agent.
See the unclassified portion of the report here. Notice it is the House of Representatives Select Intelligence Committee Report and not Fox news for all you suspicious types out there

We knew Iraq had WMDs because we had the reciepts. We supplied him with all of that crap[ to use against Iran in thier ten year war. Unfortunately we now have evidence that he complied with the UN and destroyed all of them before the second invasion.

Saddam got rid of his chemical weapons after the 1991 war because he wanted the sanctions to end. Years later, after it was clear to him that the sanctions weren't going to end as long as he was in power, he kicked the inspectors out of the country. We had intelligence from Iraqi defectors that this is what happened, but Bush chose to ignore it - even when the new inspections revealed nothing.
