I am trying to find out information on Red bull the energy drink. I went to their web site but its really not of any help. What I need is the Product Life Cycle of Red Bull. I have stayed up hours looking for this. It's part of my homework and no I am not asking for answers just someone to direct me to the correct web site. Even if you have suggestions on how to word my search. For example, I google or yahoo: Red Bull and its product life cycle, the product life cycle of red bull, or red bull, product life cycle and nothing of good research material is coming up. Please help if you can. Thanks.

Just a little knowledge: the Product Life Cycle means the course that a product's sales and profits take over its lifetime. It consist of 5 stages. Everyone keeps telling me to do the math but it has nothing to do with math. I appreciate the help but that's not what it really means.

Why not go to the store, pick up a can, get the production date and the expiration date and do a little math? According to the website the shelf life for a can of regular is 2 yrs, and for a can of sugar free is 7 months.

Added: Ok, so you're trying find profits over the life of a product and you say that has nothing to do with math. You need to find out more about your subject then, because profits are nothing BUT math. And you say you've done research, but how can you research the life of a product which is still on the shelves without some guesswork as to the time when the product 'dies'? Again, this takes a bit of math - calendar math, but math just the same.
ADDED again: After looking up "Product Life Cycle"
Ok, you're asking for help in an area where controversy exists in that many experts feel that not all products go through this in a predictable way. Additionally, you're saying you've researched this but let's face it, information of this type is not going to be avaiilable readily on the internet. Can you see a web-page entitled "Product Life Cycles of Popular Energy Drinks"??? What about the fact that you want 5 cycles of a product which has not even shown it's 4th cycle yet? (decline in sales) Without this, you cannot successfully argue for the 5 cycles without making some guesses - even educated guesses.

Identify your five areas, (introduction, growth, maturity, decline and death) and contact the company for more information. I'm sure if you ask them about the history of the product you might even guestimate at the probably decline which would signal the so-called 'death' of your product.

Try Red bull Health Impact in the search engine and see what you come up with. There is an article that talks about it's effects on athletes and what the drink containes.

Red Buill probably won't make that information available because it involves divulging ingredients and recipes.

Are you stuck with Red Bull? Or can you pick another topic with a more well-known life cycle?
