I agree with most of the above answers. Yes, it is safe, in moderation, maybe as a treat once in a while if you cut it up. Not necessarily good for them though.
Chocolate is not the only food humans can eat that is toxic to dogs. Grapes, raisins, onions are also bad for them.

Sliced up as treats once in a while is not a bad thing but don't make hot dogs a major percentage of your dog diet-way too many preservatives and fillers.

Yes, as long as the hot dog is made with natural ingredients

Hot dogs make excellent treats for training but they are not an everyday food. The number one food to worry about with dogs is grapes and rasins. They also cannot have chocolait.

Yes, but chop it up so the dog doesn't choke.
Also, don;t give it too often, as Hot Dogs have too much salt and dogs don't do well with Salt, as they don't sweat!

Yes, but if it is a small breed, be sure that you cut up the hot dog in small pieces.

As an occasional treat it would not be a problem. However, they do contain a considerable amount of salt which is not good for dogs.

I little bit of hotdog may not hurt your dog. However some dogs have sensitive stomachs and it could cause upset.
