No don't do it. Not only with bank of Ghana but anywhere while submitting such copy think 100 times, that may be misused.

Never give ANYONE a scanned copy of your passport, no matter who they claim to be. If they require a picture ID give them a copy of your driver´s license, or military ID but NOT your passport.

very safe. And if you travel to Ghana after that, you will meet many people that have the same name as you! What a coincidence.

Why in the hell would a Ghanan bank have a legitimate use for your passport unless you think you won a lottery rip off scheme.

None can travel on scanned copy of passport.
You should trust any bank in any part of world.
