Look for cardiovascular exercise. I love running, started out slowly with a good Couch to 5K program. Cardio burns fat... you can use your ab lounger until you are blue in the face, but unless you burn off the fat between the abs and the skin, you won't see results.
I'm big boned and curvy, but I'm still a size 6 and really healthy now. I know what you are going through - focus on establishing healthy habits, and the body follows.

this is a true anwser you have to loose the fat in the stomac before that stomac will even start to tone up. so what i am doing is to loose weight is eating wheat like wheat bread and durning the day all i eat is some sort of wheat cereal and if you just must eat something like pizza or buger king only do it 3 times a week and make sure you eat something wheat based at least twice a day three times a day if you nomally eat more then three. and drink nothan but water for aleast 5 month just water add favor packs if you just hate water try the crystal light icetea flavor. but do that and in time you will see the effort.

Cardio work outs are great. That can be anything. Also don't just use the ab lounge....there are things called Planks, where you lay on your stomach. then go up like a push up, but lean on your lower arms. Hold that position (straight) That one's great.

The ab liner will only tone the area and won't help you lose the fat. The best way to lose the way is cardio. That will help you lose more fat overall. Pilates has helped me alot with tonng my mid section. Get a ball and a pilates dvd

You can try being a vegetarian and not eating in front of the TV. Studies have shown people who eat in eating areas only tend to eat less.Also cutting out the meats in your food intake will go a long to losing weight

If you have a lot of weight around your middle or a big stomach, it could be a sign of insulin resistance (called syndrome x). Try cutting way back on simple carbs like sugar, sweets, white bread-rice-flour, pasta, etc. and replace with complex carbs.
