It is a war and people die in war
here is something to think about
"War is cruelty. There's no use trying to reform it, the crueler it is the sooner it will be over."

Actually historically the number of casualties is outrageousely small. This month had fewer than last month so not sure what your talking about.
The goverment does not act like they got themselves killed. The government does however recognize tha they volunteered for the army anddied defending the country which is the ultimate pay for a soldier, their familys were given compensation for burial arrangements etc andw as placed ina VA cemetary.
And those litte red and white flags are the representation of everything this country has/did in the past/and will forever stand for so go back to your cave you little troll.

Please get real. If you do the math -- and I don't know if you can, since you obviously can't write -- you'll learn that the death rate in Iraq is 1/100th of what it was in Vietnam.
This is the least deadly war in American history, as far as U.S. troops go.
In fact, it's more dangerous to be deployed to Afghanistan -- as any Canadian soldier will tell you (they have suffered the highest death rate of any coalition force).
Soldiers are dying at a higher per capita rate in Afghan. But of course, the media only has enough attention span to focus on one war at a time, and Iraq is the topic du jour...
Keep sucking up the hype, loser.

Would you rather that be you in the bags? Did you know that under Kennedy, we were supposed to continue on/bear any burden, even if 1/2 the population was wiped out by a nuclear [Russian] strike? The casualties have been incredibly LOW, which is a credit to the quality of our troops.

I am a veteran and spent one year in Vietnam. Let me see you response to this. How many bodies did they hide inWWII, how many in Korea, how many from Nam, guess what they all have in common, all Presidents when started were Democrats. LBJ had more bodies hidden in a month than Bush has had in 6 years. You want to see more bodies then lets pull out now, and we can start counting innocent civilians right here. Support the effort and support the troops and their families.

Then you aren't checking your facts. 3400+-, troops have died. 40,000 +or- have been injured. There has been a decline in the past couple weeks. As far as I can tell no Dissaranged soldiers have been reported. The wounded are for the most part at Walter Reed Hospital D.C.. You should go to the hospital and ask them if they are being ignored before you assume that they are.

They had Bob Woodroof on this morning, and they were showing how many men and women are in Veteran's hospitals and are they doing enough for them...We forget about all the injured with the main focus on the dead....some of these soldiers would probably rather be dead than in the shape they are in....it's sad..

more people die each year in drug related or gang violence in LA. than soldiers in Iraq .
I don't cry for street trash but pray and cry for our troops to come home in VICTORY every day.
they die for your freedom.
GOD BLESS HE WHO STANDS ON THE WALL IN OUR DEFENSE..
To equate the cost of war is to be defeated. we must focus on winning. "FDR"
