My daughter was 8 months old when her father past away. She never really got to know him that well, nor remember him. At his funeral believe it or not she said... Dadda go bye bye. She has said many other things referring to him, like at age 2 she said "oh that's right mommy is my daddy" out of the blue and starts laughing, there are many more things she has said, but last week she said the weirdest thing of all. She asked me if I knew who Vicky was. Of course I had no clue, so I asked her. She said that she was daddy’s friend, and she was with him, and that daddy was with grandpa, then she asked me if i knew what grandpas name was... (Her grandfather, whom she has never met, died about 5 years before she was born... So how in the world would she know about him?) I told her his name was James and she said "oh that’s right...” Can she really see, talk, or hear him? Should I take her to a theorist? I need some good advice here... Thanks

*other things she has said, i was in the bathtub once, she was playing along side, turned around and said "oh hi daddy"and started laughing,.. I asked her where her daddy was once.. she replied.."Idk, but i wish he would leave me alone.. he scares me in my dreams" She had been having nightmares prier, and stopped about a year ago.. Keep in mind most of the stuff she has said, was before her 3rd bday.. and the nightmares started the day of her 3rd bday.

I think that your child is possessed and you need to seek medical attention (from a Rabbi) immediately! OMG

Perhaps you could look into who this Vicky is, if you haven't already. If they're real, try to think how she could have heard about her. In this situation, I would not rule out communication from the beyond. That might sound a little farfetched, and you probably don't believe in paranormal stuff, as most people don't. Some people believe that the deceased can communicate througn the mind, without having to haunt the place.

Parts of it may be flashbacks from her past. Anything that anyone has said or done could have made her think. As for the randomly saying things, you'll need to decide whether it sounds as though she is talking to herself or someone else.

You might want to try asking her questions. As long as you ask them in a way that doesn't make her hurt or upset, you should find out what you want to know. Maybe next time she says something, ask her nicely who she is talking to. 5 year olds can make things up from their imagination, but this doesn't sound like the same case.

Try asking questions, and if all else fails, you might like to take her to a theorist, just to find out what is going on in her mind.

My papa passed away when I was about 12 and by brother was 2-1/2. He said that he talked to him and he would have dreams about him, that my papa told him a funny story to tell us. He would tell my mom things that would freak her out. I believe that he had some kind of contact with him maybe that happens in small children to help them deal with a death of a loved one.

It is said that children can see and hear things that adults can not. Meaning they can see and hear the dead, along with animals can also hear and see the dead. Now I don't really if this is true but that is what the famous psychics say well I only know of Slyvia Brown.

Yes, it is very normal. A child's innocence allows them to see spirits that we don't have the faith to see. One of the ways that God comforts us is to allow us to see and communicate with spirits that come in the form of our loved ones. It is not the actual deceased person, unless you practice religious beliefs outside of Christianity. My daughter was the same way about my grandmother who passed less than two months after she was born. She could tell us things about her that she had no way of knowing in natural life. I began to study the Bible to see if it was possible for her to be speaking to the dead and found my answer. Those who summon or communicate with the spirits of the deceased are not of God, but God will allow angels or spirits to communicate in the form of a loved one to give us comfort.

Kids can definately see and talk to them. Im sure their around her all the time.I would just go with it.She seems to be taking it well so I dont see any problem.Kids see things we dont because we are raised to believe there is no such thing. But I think kids really do communicate with loved ones who have past over.I think its great.
