My best friend is a girl! We've always loved each other as friends! However, over the summer I starting falling for her, yet I never told her, because I couldn't have coped with a rejection! She then went out with a very good friend of mine! After that, she started telling me (coz she "could see I was sad") that she in fact loved ME, yet she had no idea I loved her back! So she dumped my friend and now it's all messed up! She doesn't want to commit to a relationship with me, because she doesn't want to hurt my friend's feelings, and she doesn't want to hook up with my friend again, because it would hurt MY feelings! I've been waiting just over a month now for her decision...Is there any hope of a relationship with her, or should I just walk away and forget her?

If she loved you that much she would be with you already..she's just playing with your emotions...I'd leave her

I'm not sure if the girl expressed interest in dating your male friend or not, but If she has then I wouldn't really believe that its safe to trust her feelings with you. Its sounds like if she can't decide between the two of y'all. So I don't think the relationship would be successful. I would hang back and still be friends and act like you don't need to date her, and I would talk to other girls. I wouldn't pursue her romantically again unless she convinces you that she is head over heels with you, and she can commit.

It sounds like she is feeling pressure to commit to you when she really doesn't view you that way, I think she see's you like a brother and now even that is at risk of being ruined. I think you should back off and let this whole subject rest, if she really feels the same about you then it will happen naturally, the fact that she chose someone else and felt good about telling you tells me right there that she isn't interested in you like that....sorry.

From my opinion, if you really love her, do you think you can just walk away and forget her? Love is something which you can't really describe. I think you should just go for her. Well love is selfish and blind. Remember this, being nice to your rival is being cruel to yourself. Furthermore when your "best friend" dumped your friend, she already hurt his feelings. Whether hooking up with you or not, he is already hurt. It doesn't help too.

Trust me, if she cared that much for your friend's feelings, she wouldn't have dumped him.
She's just not that interested in YOU. Deal with it. Start asking other girls out, and find one that likes you.

that is a hard call but i have learned thought personal experience that a good friend is better is better to keep as a friend. but if you and her feel the same about each other you should date. your other friend will get mad but least you will have your girl who knows she could be your wife one day.

if you have waited over a month already... u should do "something" at least...
don't forget about her, bad idea
if you love her, u should tell her your decision actually... DON'T WAIT ANYMORE!
warning, you might loose your best friend or your girl-friend(??) but if ur lucky, hopefully your best friend will understand
good luck :-)

you need to find you a nice girl who is not so confused about what she wants. and once you do so, she will try to get with you because deep down inside she'll probably discover it was you she really wanted, but she's an emotional rollarcoaster...stay friends...
just my opinion...
