Do you thing we shoud say it soon?, do you think it might ruin the relationship if we dont say it within a year or so?

It doesn't matter. You can only show true love through actions not words. It's easier to say "I love you" than to actually show it through actions. However, it might be nice to hear every once and a while.

As long as you know how you feel each other I don't think it matters. Sometimes the actions of a person means more than what they say. The words will come out when they are meant to. Don't rush it. Remember once they are said you can never take them back.

The problem is, it's easy to say "I Love You". They are just words.
I think you both have some kind of phobia over saying these words. What is more important are the loving actions. Caring about each others feelings. Communicating, sharing. At some point it needs to be said though.

Here's how I would approach it. Ask him if he loves you. All he has to say is "Yes". Then you can tell him you do to. Simple?

Good luck.

Love is only a word. People say it all the time without it meaning anything. If you know the feelings are there, and so does your bf, then that is all that matters. Sometimes your own private phrase can mean more that "I love you". I tell my bf, "I like you a little", and we both know it means "I love you". It is more personal and less embarrassing to say in public or in front of friends.

I say you use those three words when you really feel your in love...Not just because you've been together for 6 months. I love you, is being used to lightly these days and not when it really matters, so when you and your boyfriend really feel in love, and trust me, you will know what it happens, then use it. Until then use your other loving sayings, they're just as cute and meaningful.

The question is - do you love each other? It should come out naturally if you do. Maybe write it in a note and see how he reacts. Make sure you watch his face when he reads it. Then you'll know if its ok to say it. Or just whisper it to him while he's sleeping. awwwww...
