Technically at 5ft1 and 145lb, you are overweight, but your body fat percentage of 30% is acceptable. You appear to weigh more because you have a lot of lean body mass for your height, either you have a large frame or a lot of muscle.

Although 30% body fat is still at the higher end, as long as you maintain your body fat at 30% or lower, you should be fine. It's up to you whether you want to lose weight or not, but you don't need to lose 20lb.

Take care : )

30% body fat is a little on the high range for your age. if you are 30% now statistically in 15 years you will be at 40%. I would not worry about your total body weight but try to reduce your body fat closer to 20%. the lower the body fat the more reduced risk there is for many diseases especially glucose metabolism disorders.

30% body fat is ***too much***, you need to get below 25%!

Note: 30% body fat is too much even if one is underweight!

Try to lose fat (that is, do cardio) as opposed to diet (where you lose calories regardless of the type of weight you burn).

Remember, too much fat is dangerous for your health. If you care about your health, lose it. And don't be afraid that if you aren't fat boys aren't going to like you... there isn't a lot of difference between a 40D and a 40C or even a 38C. Your goal should be to be proportioned.

I think your doctor knows very little about fitness and nutrition. If you are a muscular woman that exercises regularly, then you should weigh more than the average woman your height. See anothr doctor. And by the way, muscle weighs more than fat

Muscle does way more than fat, but your doctor is right. unless your ripped you don't have nearly enough muscle to make your weight healthy
Sorry
