My mother recently passed away, and I still talk to her. Alot of times when I feel like I need her, I will see a rainbow. Do you think that this could be her way to communicate with me or is it just coincidence?

What is the basis of your belief in death?
I totally believe in the Bible from reading, studying, praying & experiencing. The scriptures say that when a person dies they are in the grave until Jesus comes back. They cannot talk to you or communicate with you in any way. But be comforted that God knows and understands your loss and is there for you no matter what. He made your mother. He made your relationship with her special and He can fill her place in your life. Once I was missing hugs - like only a little child could feel, and I told God about it and that I really wanted to feel that special all-over squishy-squeezy hug again. He gave me one. Awesome. Let Him fill the void in your life - He CAN do it!
(And be careful of immitations - those are supplied by satan & his followers.)
