Depends pretty much on the laws for your state or territory on transferring vehicles. Having proof of who signed sounds like a good idea regardless of requirements, but call whoever handles such things, and ask.

No. All you need to bring is CASH. All the seller needs to bring is the car and the TITLE.

You hand them the cash and they hand you the TITLE, signed by them.
