No, there is no compulsion in Islam. You have to decide for yourself if you want to become a Muslim. I can help guide you by providing information, but I can't force you. I won't sit there and say become a Muslim now or you'll burn in hell! Instead, if only if you ask me, then I'll point out factors that make Islam wonderful and correct.

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Taghut (evil) and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trust worthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. " (Qur'an 2:256)]

Its not the actual conversion, more or less the information of someone about God.

No one can convert anyone in Islam, because there is no compulsion in Islam.

However people can inform each other, and if you happen to be a source if information and you enlighten someone, then God gives you blessings for your sharing of knowledge.

This isnt such a big thing as to say youre guaranteed to go to heaven.

Thats about it

elgammal4..., Christianity does not teach that if you convert someone you will go to heaven. Where did you get that idea from?
I don't know what Islam says on the subject; perhaps a Muslim here will enlighten us.

No. But God does know everything and he Knows if someone is true and clear in his helpings. God Loves when we as people help one another. When someone helps another person, whether it be someone who is confused and looking for answers and you happen to guide him in some way, God knows this and accepts this as something very good for you.
True Muslims, you will find won't push their beliefs on you, but if you ask and they feel you are genuine in your question, they will be more than willing to answer in a respectful manner. Never trying to Convert, but rather trying to Educate and teach what they know...

Well, actually this is true but that doesnt mean it is unhealthy or respictful for other religions........................also in your religion weather it is christianity or it is hinduism in every religion it is considered heavenly if u convert someone to your religion........
dont u want people to be christians .... so that ur god jesus(pbuh) be happpy with u...................simply we want allah to be happy with us...........and we convert everyone into islam.........but as u know islam is real religion thats why it is the most spreading and accepting religion in the world.

I think so. In order for a Muslim to go to heaven, he/she must do good works, therefore, converting a non-Muslim to Islam is another way that they can convince themselves that they will go to Heaven.
