I use Eucerin on my various skin issues and it works well for me. I rub a small amount onto the affected area a couple of times a day. The previous suggestion for the Vitamin E gel caps is also good and worth a shot. I'm going to try that the next time I have a flare up.

As a general note with any skin ailments - be sure to drink plenty of water and try not to take super hot showers.

The cause of excema is not known but some known aggravating factors include hands that are in constant contact with soap and water, harsh household products and some vegetable juices. A physician is normally your best bet. However, if you're looking for something on your own, Arbonne has some recommendations that might alleviate some of your discomfort. Although it sounds silly, the ABC (Arbonne Baby Care) line is perfect as it is the most sensitive, pure, safe, and beneficial to your skin. People with skin conditions have tried these products and experienced amazing results. The products are formulated without chemicals, dyes, fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol, wax, acetone, etc. They also have a great intelligence conditioning oil and rejuvenating cream that can be used whenever you feel it's necessary to relieve the discomfort and itching. I would be happy to help you if you would be open to giving it a try. Good luck.

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

I know this sounds funny but....
My daughter had eczema since she was born. I tried everything and nothing worked or calmed the itchness and redness for her. One day I put diaper ointment on her and she hasn't had it back since. She is now 4 years old.

I have just asked for a coupon code for something called repcillin, it is great stuff for eczema and dry skin:

I have been using Repcillin for my 8 m/o daughter and her eczema issue. It really has helped. I heard that there is a discount at the Google shopping base (http://base.google.com/base/search?q=repcillin)for people who have AARP, could someone please email me if they have this coupon? Thanking you in advance.

Lets see if someone answers my question.

I have it on my elbows. I buy vitamin E gelcaps (at the dollar store or where ever) snip them with scissors and put the gel directly on my elbows, rub it in like lotion. Seems to work pretty good for me.
