stupid idea isnt it? dont u like how they relate god to a loving parent, and then say, what loving parent doesnt punish their children for doing something bad?
but they dont take into account, loving parents dont punish their child for eternity. they punish their child so their child can learn from their mistakes. if hell is eternity, how do we learn from our mistakes and whats the point in this punishment?

I do not think that infinite punishment is just for a finite crime.
But, God told us that we must repent of ALL sins.
If we do not repent of all our sins, but justify any of them, we say that God lied to us about our need to repent of ALL our sins. We become rebels fighting against God. THAT is when we become worthy to receive infinite punishment.

Yes, why not? If you know there is a God, and that he has things that you must abide by, and you refuse, then why wouldn't God reject you and throw you into hell.

Yes, I told my mom her new dress did not make her butt look fat. I lied. Therefore, I should suffer eternal damnation!
