Do you think that Iran or Al Qaeda is the US's greatest enemy?

Al Qaeda has attacked the US on our soil, while Iran has
attacked our embassy, funded Hezbollah and other terrorists.
Also, Iran is attempting to build nuclear weapons, and they
are supporting the insurgents in Iraq. I am not advocating a
war with Iran, but we should be doing all that we can to
support the Iranians who want to overthrow the evil Ayatollahs. What do you think?

I believe we should be there. Even if no one believes it and say we caused the problems, we are there and need to finish what was started-for good or bad. But as far as "greatest enemy", I don't think so. I think that area is the itch on the worlds back we just get scratch. Of course they do harm and killing etc, but a number of smaller (and larger) countries could do the same if not more if they dedicated themselves to it. The problem is, although America is hated throughout the world, to many people depend on us. And other countries will argue in group discussions of religious issues, not go back to medieval times and chop your head off. This region is behind the times politically and socially, but want modern day weapons. They will eventually implode themselves. We just have to keep scratching and maybe get a friend to lend a hand.

No they are not the GREATEST enemy! You have seen nada yet! Wait for the Orientals and their pay-back! What the Arbs have done will be games compared to what China , North and South Korea [ u better believe it!]will do ! God have mercy on us! All the focus is on the middle East , but the worst enemy is in waiting - hiding and will act at the proper time! AS fr supporting the Iranians in the struggle to over throw the Ayatollahs , in plain Ingles is none of our bisussness! in view of the fact that the C,I,A, helped to overthrow the former ayatollah and install a U,S, puppet gov, in Iran back in the 50's and then the Iranians over threw this puppet gov, and reinstalled the former , and wanted America out of their country and lives , they did attack our U,S, EMBASSY in Iran, but, our gov, knew they wanted us out and had plenty of time to get our people out before they took it over, 2nd , why should we complain about Iran or anyone else having nukes?? America is the only nation who has ever used nukes, maybe we shouldn't have them?? also why are you not complaining about Israel having nukes, we all know they do and they did use nukes in the so called 6 day war, I was in Lebanon at this time and our out fit did the security for the Israeli clean up personnel, in the Egyptian desert, and the Israeli's are the most war like country in the middle East, look at how they have did the Palestinians, they have stolen their homes , businesses , and ruined their family's by killing their children , mothers fathers etc, what would you do under the same circumstances???

Why is Al Qaeda the biggest threat? The fact that someday they will get a nuclear weapon and use it on a U.S. or Israeli City causing the knee jerk nuclear response they seek...

And ISRAEL.

Americans are clueless as to Why "Terrorist" attack the U.S. interest; why did they attack on 9/11?

ISRAEL stole the Palestinian state in 1947 by self declaration of their state of ISRAEL. Americans forget ISRAEL was once the "Terrorist" killing Arabs by hidden bombs...oh, yes, that happened. The former PRIME MINISTER of ISRAEL was Menachem Begin, Begin was a wanted "Irgun" "Terrorist" in 1946 for placing a bomb inside the KING DAVID HOTEL IN JERUSALUM killing 98. This was the base of the British Secratariat in charge of the Palestinian territories;The King David Hotel looks exactly like the blown up Oklahoma federal building...same thing...same act.....yet, ISRAEL makes him PRIME MINISTER hero while anyone else would be a "TERRORIST"....He who wins writes history...

The Arabs were forced off their land and we support Israel, give them weapons, ISRAEL even steals U.S. nuclear secrets and we still do business with them...yet, we fail to force ISRAEL into inspections we demand Arab Nations to concede to. ISRAEL has weapons of mass destruction....we let that happen, the Arabs mistrust us for a very good reason.

I do not condone the destruction of Israel. I condone a spearate Palestinian state, yet they cannot even seem to get on the same page with their own Government...

If we stop blindly supporting Israel, this "Terrorist" issue will disipate.

The U.S.'s greatest enemy is itself. It's actual policies and actions are contrary to the principles of democracy which it advocates. Its leader continue to violate international law. It's just a matter of time when the U.S. will self-implode.

At the moment no. I think that if the U.S. sees Iran as a threat they would have taken action already. I think that the U.S. should worry more about North Korea!!!
