If you couldn't aford those things you maybe shouldn't have gotten a dog.

Pets are like children, they take money to raise.

Sell stuff, GET A JOB....Give her to a good home who can afford her

Are you old enough to get a job even a part time job? If you are still living at home and under 18 you need your parent's permission of course. If you are under 14 or 16 which are the usual ages for starting jobs see if your folks will let you do extra chores to earn some extra money or put part of any allowance you get into treats for your pet. You might want to put 5 or 10% of your allowance in a savings account too or even a piggy bank in case she ever needs to go to the vet and your parents don't have the money right then. If it is OK with your folks you might see if neighbors have chores you can do like maybe raking a yard or flower beds to get ready for planting in spring, or sweeping a porch or sidewalk, or even walking their dog for them if you can be very careful and make sure it does not get away.
Do you have toys and stuff that are in good condition that you don't use any more? Will your folks let you ruin an ad in a free ad paper to sell them? Are there things you know how to do that you could do for pay? If there are other people in the neigborhood that have and love their pets maybe you could look up info about pet care and things pets like with a Yahoo search and make a pet tips newsletter to sell for a quarter each every month or every couple of months. If you sell 5 copies that would buy a bag of inexpensive dog biscuits. You will need your parents's OK for this too of course especially if it is their computer.

One of the best treats you can give your dog is your love and attention. That takes time buit doesnt cost money. Another thing the dog will enjoy that will help you both is to learn some basic obedience. You can get a book or video at the library that will show you how to train her. It will be work for you and her but she will enjoy knowing that she has learned from you and that you are proud of her. Learning to mind you is very improtant because it will help keep her safe. If she starts to eat something that can hurt her you can say no and she will know to mind you. If she starts to run to the road you can say stop and she will stop and not run in front of a car.

Why would you have a dog if you can't afford even the basic things for her? Part of the responsibility of owning a pet is being able to care for it properly. Having to "raise money" for treats makes me question what would happen if she got hurt or sick. Would you have to put her down because you couldn't afford a $200 vet bill? What about a $1000 vet bill? Leave her there to suffer?

In short, raise money by getting a job or give the dog to breed rescue. They'll ensure that she finds a home with someone who can afford her.

go to your neighbours and paint their address number on the curb for them, its basically a nighttime number so the pizza man or God forbid ambulance driver can see the number and stop and not miss the house. I have painted about 70.000 of them in 20 years part time,. look on curb numbers on the Internet it will tell you how to do it. good luck
I don't know if you have a safe neighbourhood, you could bring a friend with you if you have doubts about if its safe, just ask enough people most will say yes, I just charge five dollars.

You get a job... or do a car wash... or shovel snow, rake yards, mow the lawn. There are plenty of ways to make money, just open your eyes and allow the opportunities to hit you.

Since you don't seem to need all that much money then how about finding a *craft* to make and sell? I know a woman that crochets around the hair combs making them fancy and in different colors. She will sell them to the waitresses and school kids. She just goes to where they are and sits and crochets them... they ask her about it.. walla-walla- a sale is made...

GOOD LUCK

Why do you have a dog if you can't afford to buy these things for her? You can't expect charitable contributions to help you support your decision to adopt a dog. Taking care of animals can be an expensive proposition. It sounds like you haven't given this proper thought. Your question makes me wonder if you will be able to properly take care of this dog.
