Not that anybody could REALLY know, but it's something to think about. I guess a better question could be, do mentally retarded people have a capacity to be evil and go to hell? If so, do they go to hell retarded? For those of you that answered no to heaven, but yes to hell, why?

Some mentally retarded people don't have the capacity to be evil.Some retarts(i mean that in a good way) do have the capacity to be evil(just like the Zodiac Killer)He was mental so he killed more than 200 or some people

Every person has a day in their life when they realize the difference between good and evil. If a person is mentally retarded and never realizes the difference because they are acting out purely instincually then they will not be judged. However, if another mentally retarted person does understand the difference and makes the choice to not accept Christ than they will ultimately go to hell... God does not punish people that truly do not understand or have the mental capacity to... the same goes for infants and children as well.

Mentally retarded people do not get questioned or judged because they cant tell the difference between right and wrong, so they go straight to heaven without even being judged ^^
