Well, you are a moron if you think your mathematical ineptitude has anything to do with your gender.

I don't think it matters with gender. I am wonderful in math and horrible in English. My husband on the other hand is the opposite. He can't hardly do math, and writes wonderfully. I believe it just something that we are meant to do well in.

You like English. You don't like Math. You can get an A+ in Math, if you try.

They arent, studies have been done and shown men/women are equal on cognition. They think society plays a role in in the perception though because thats the common belief that men are better at math and women are better at english.

Math is easy. your not horrible at math . You only need tutoring I'm available for tutoring math I can teach you how to sove difficult multiplication problems using only the mind. Girls and guys are both good at solving math problems once they meet a tutor that teaches math concepts well.

Just because you're not good at math doesn't mean that all girls are like that. A girl tutored me at maths in high-school and she was terrific. I couldn't have done it without her.

Usually that's the way it works. If you're good at English you're not so good with Math. I HATE math... I cried in school I would get so frustrated.
I think it's because women tend to think more fluidly & emotionally. Men tend to think more logically & more realistically.

Speak for yourself.
Who says girls are worse at math? I think they are mistaken. I happen to be very good at math.

Personally, I like math. But, I think it's true that girls tend to like to use emotion, while math is pretty much, just the facts.

One of the most interesting differences appear in the way men and women carry out mental mathematical calculations. In all these tasks, women and men are strikingly different, as they are too in the way their brains process language.
On the other hand, women are better than men in human relations, recognizing emotional overtones in others and in language, emotional and artistic expressiveness, esthetic appreciation, verbal language and carrying out detailed and pre-planned tasks. For example, women generally can recall lists of words or paragraphs of text better than men (13).
there is a brain region in the cortex, called inferior-parietal lobule (IPL) which is significantly larger in men than in women. the left side IPL is larger in men than the right side. In women, this asymmetry is reversed. This is the same area which was shown to be larger in the brain of Albert Einstein, as well as in other physicists and mathematicians. So, it seems that IPL's size correlates highly with mental mathematical abilities.
This may account, scientists say, for the fact that there are many more male mathematicians, airplane pilots, bush guides, mechanical engineers, architects and race car drivers than female ones.
In other words, women tend to use their right side of the brain more where things like reading and language arts activities are processed and men tend to use more the left side of the brain where math and science activities are processed. This is why girls suck at math mostly and are brilliant in writing and guys are great at math but suck at writing a love letter. :D
Hope this explains why we are the superior race. LOL
