I have known this new guy that I am currently talking to since I was younger, (he is 31 and I am 23) and he knows my family (Father and father's side), they know him and really like him. He and my daddy do everything together. Well, my daddy doesn't know that we kick it like that, and I was wondering if I should consider dating this person, or just let the friendship continue? What would you do? What do you think my daddy would say or how would he react to this? Plus, I am my daddy's only girl!!!

Go with the flow of how you feel. I would try to stay his friend but if he makes a move and you want to be with him, go for it. Your dad should understand you're an adult that wants companionship and this is a person he already knows. If he doesn't understand well, it's cuz you're daddy's only girl.

you can date as friends, but look at the possibilities...this guy is your father's friend too, not just your friend.

do you wish to strain the friendship between your family and him?
its not like as if he is just your friend where should anything bad happen...only you will be affected.

think on this: if you guys click then break up, he may avoid your family and your father in the process of avoiding you...no friendship for everyone.

If you like him, then what the heck is holding you back?!
