All matter in the universe if quickly travelling away from a single point in space billions of light years away. If we turn back the clock, it doesn't take much imagination to see that all matter and energy (and even time itself) must have originated at that spot in accordance with the multitude of physical Laws. Even Newton knew that objects in motion tend to stay in motion and no other forces have been acting on these stars and galaxies.
What caused this explosion? Was all energy (and therefore matter) created at that instance, or did it already exist and we are mearly part of a BigBang-BigCrunch cycle? If you want to call that "God" then be my guest, but please do not believe that a big man in the clouds created a tiny insignificant planet in the vast expanses of space just to put some insignificant organisms on so he could care what they thought of him.

God really happened. He had the power to create everything in 6 days (He only rested on the 7th) because He is omnipotent. The Big Bang couldn't have happened. Where did the matter come from to start the spinning motion? If evolutions don't believe in God then it couldn't have come from Him. Secondly how did one tiny dot of matter create the entire universe? Don't tell me it took billions of years to evolve. That's just retarded. Third if everything flew off from this spinning matter then how come is it that two of planets are spinning differently than the others and some of the moons are too. Everything would have to be spinning in the same direction. There is so much against evolutionists theories that it makes no sense.

Oh man, I know it's not right but I did have to laugh at bpgveg14's comment. That was actually quite witty; Inappropriate but witty.
The big bang vs God...hmm. You got me. Since I believe God created all and all is subject to his authority, I would say that it really doesn't matter to me. A misconception made by many is that science and the Bible are incompatible. This is not true. God is the great scientist and His creation is incredible! Much of this is too infinite for my finite mind. I am not going to get my brain cells stressed over something I can't fathom. Love God, live life, and die happy.
God bless.

Well, they can measure down to just a few minutes after the big bang happened, and can measure nothing of God. Any book, etc on God was all written by people 6,000 years ago, when they thought the earth was flat, that lightning was God's anger, earthquakes were caused by God, etc. But amazingly people still believe in God, even though he has never shown any evidence that he exists, but the big bang has evidence. I don't know which path I go on, either the one with scientific evidence, or the one which was written by people scared of their own shadows, and obviously had mental disorders (schizophrenia probably). That is a tough one.

well if you believe in the Big Bang then you suppore the science behind the theory. And you support science that says the world is millions if not billions of years old.
If you believe in God the earth is between 6000 and 10000 years old and the big bang could not have happen and you also belive the humans and dinosaurs had to have walked the earth at the same time.
you choose which one sounds the strangest.
If you gave me a bad review tell me why. I post not but facts

A huge wrestling match apparently. Except that God forgot that it was supposed to be fake.
Or maybe there was a God thing. But it exploded into a million billion tiny bits. If he had as much hot air as certain of his followers, that would certainly be a big bang.

The Big Bang might have happened based on the available evidence. Lack of evidence for God however makes it difficult to state that a divine hand influenced events in any way.

What makes you think either of them happened?
If you're asking whether God created the universe in 6 days, approximately 6000 years ago, your question can be answered by simply reading the first chapter of Genesis in your Bible. And if you are brainless enough to buy that, then all your problems will be over. Ignorance is bliss, as they say.

Are you kidding me? God of course. Isnt it a little odd that the planet earth is right where it needs to be. We are the only known planet which can sustain life. Why are other planets in the Big Bang not showing any life forms? Because God created all the heavens and the Earth. If this planet was just a mile off here and a few miles there it would not be able to sustain life as it does now. Now you know the rest of the story. Repent and be baptized. Amen and Peace out...................
