you have a weight scale. And you have eight metal ball and one gold ball. the gold ball weight more than the metal ball. all are the same size and same color, the diference is the weigth. try to tell me which ball is the gold ball, only using or putting the balls in the scale two time or in two tries.

Put three balls each on each side of the scale. If they balance, they're all plain metal and the gold ball is among the three that were not weighed. If they do not balance, the gold ball is in the group of three that was heavier. You have narrowed the gold ball down to one of a particular group of three balls.
From the group of three that must contain the gold ball, weigh two of these three. If they balance, the gold ball is the remaining one not weighed. If they do not, the gold ball is the heavier one of the two that were weighed.

on the scale put any two balls on each side. if they balance keep them aside. if not, replace the ball and if it balances, the one u took out first should be the gold ball.am i right.
funny answer: take the balls to the jewellery shop. he will tell u exactly.
