I haven't been in a relationship for a couple of years. I met this guy and am extremely attracted to him. I don't want to give it to him too fast because I want to get to know him - but it has been a VERY long time since I've been...you know....there. What do you guys think about how long you should wait before getting intimate?

I would wait until you know for sure he is into you. It doesn't sound like you are quite sure right now, so wait a while. It's easy to do what your emotions tell you but what if YOU don't end up liking the guy. then you let him have a piece of you that you can't get back.

I've actually heard guys saying that they get turned off if a girl gives it up to fast because if you'll do it for him that fast, how does he know you won't with someone else?

Give it time..until you can feel it's right....it'll be worth it in the end.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT

Would you like to be in a relationship again or do you want to have JUST FUN?

If you want to try the whole "relatioship thing" than I would suggest you wait... everytime you get intimate with a guy, he all of the sudden changes, he starts calling you less, only calls on the weekends and doesn't listen as much. And after all that, you realize he just wanted some, and he got it.

If you just want TO HAVE FUN... At least wait 1-2 months, otherwise you'll look real slutty...

It's good that you're thinking about this before jumping in. You probly know the risks, like that you could get too deep into the relationship w/o really knowing what he's like. It sounds like you have a good head on yer shoulders. You are smart enough to find a way out if you need to. I say get some fer yerself and see how it feels to give some back. The only one who knows is you.

There is know real time limit. It's when you feel comfortable with him enough to go that direction. It is up to you and you only.
Now for a guys perspective, he is already wanting it. That is us just being guys. I as a guy dating a chick, I would not wait longer than 2 to three weeks and that is dating on a regular basis.

hte best thing to do would be to talk to him about it. nothing can hurt just casually bringing it up and most of all be open if you want to then tell him!!! even if he wants to wait, at least he know where you stand. dont be confrontational, either, the most impartant part of a healthy relationship is communication, so its best to tell him your feelings and concerns before its too late

Depends on the guy. If he's really into you then he'll wait for a long while, but if he just wants some then he'll hint at it every chance he gets. If he's really into you, he'll wait for months notice I didnt say years!!!!

wait until you are married. If you want to know if a guy really cares about you, you need to make him wait and respect you. Until then, you won't find a good guy.

Personally, I wait until I am married. Commitment is important to me before I have sex.
