After having my child my hair and skin haven't been the same. When I get a zit and it finally goes away a dark spot is left and I hate that so much. I've been using Palmer's Skin Success lightening cream but doesn't seem like its working. Can someone please recommend a good product for hyper-pigmentation?

Go to a dermatologist and ask for a prescription for 4% hydroquinone cream. Apply it only to the areas you want to bleach, and don't use benzoyl peroxide-based acne treatments on the same night you use the hydroquinone. (This turns the hydroquinone dark and can stain your skin. )

The over-the-counter stuff can only have 2% hydroquinone, and that's why it doesn't usually work.

its may be a hormonal problem. you need to use something with retena (I think that's how it's spelled) or there are a laser treatments and skin peels that work really well for dark blotches on the skin. you may want to check that out also
