To get into medical school you really need to be an "A" student in everything in college (High-school math won't matter), so it's a good idea to learn how to study and do well in school now so that you get those A's in college and can get into med school. A couple B's in math might not automatically rule you out, but the more A's the better.

Not sure what you mean by needing math A level. But a psychiatrist is a medical doctor (MD) who has gone to medical school and then specialized in psychiatry. Yes, you will need math, and chemistry for sure to do that.

TO BECOME A PSYCHITRIST YOU HAVE TO GO TO A 4 YEAR UNIVERSITY AND YOU DO HAVE TO HAVE MATH AS PART OF YOUR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE. WITH A 4 YEAR DEGREE YOU GET ONLY BACHOLERS OF ART. REMEMBER THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PSYCHIATRIST AND PSYCHOLOGIST. PSYCHIATRIST ARE MEDICAL DOCTORS WHO HAVE TO GO TO MEDICAL SCHOOL AND 4 YEARS DEGREE. AND TO BE A PSYCHIATRIST YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE MEDICAL SCHOOL TO GET A SPECIALTY IN PSCHYIATRY. BUT PSYCHOLOGIST DO NOT GO TO MEDICAL SCHOOL. PSYCHOLOGIST DO NOT PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS, THEY DO COUNSELING AND BEHAVIOR MODIFICATIONS. BUT FOR BOTH YOU HAVE TO HAVE HIGHER MATH, SUCH AS CALCULUS AND STATISTICS.
