Depends upon your store...
In the bulk food section or where the rice and beans are located or in some stores where the Hamburger Helper is located.
A common brand is Near East in a kind of a small box.

Just about any supermarket will have boxes of it close to the rice, but if you have access to a store with a bulk section, you can buy it more cheaply and it seems to me that it tends to be of better quality.
And of course you can always phone the store, or just flag down a clerk, and ask them. They're usually even nice about it!

it's with the rices. at least at the stores around me that's where it is.

You can find them in most stores; Kroger's, Tom thumb, Albert son's .
if you cannot find them, just ask for help to locate it.

near rice or ethnic foods. i get mine at albertson's in the same place where they have mixes for falafel, etc. also, i have found it in the kosher section at times.
