This is not difficult -- brooms and mops are big tip-offs. Then put the CEO of that corporation in prison for two or more years for violating the law against hiring illegal workers.

You can also imprison the corporate official who actually hired the illegal and, just to make sure, put some Betty Sue Billups -- housewife, preferably one with blonde hair in a flip -- in the joint for a two-year stretch for hiring a Mexican gardener. Wow- you have a twin.
Jailing employers of illegals will obviously send the message to corporations that it is not safe to hire illegals.
But that still leaves us with the problem of the illegals entering this country to start with.
They didn't apply for jobs while still in Mexico and cross the border because they were told they had a job.
They crossed the border on a hope and a prayer with no promise of anything.
They don't know when they make that decision if there will be work here or not. They have no job lined up.
But we can make sure they don't have one once they're here.
And we can make sure they can't get inside America in the first place.
They crossed the border illegally because they thought they could find work and now they're here in this country illegally demanding rights they are not entitled to because they chose to break the law to get here.
Build the wall, deport all illegals upon detection, prosecute employers that hire them.

That is exactly the root of the problem - those who hire illegals are the major cause of illegal immigration! I agree that if those who hire illegals were hit with the strongest arm of the law, the message would get through to all employers and it would no longer be profitable or desireable to hire illegal immigrants. The Immigration Reform Act of 1986 states it is illegal for any company/corporation to hire undocumented workers. That act is still enforceable..... buy rarely does our government do anything about it. remember also, that it was in the 80's that 12 million illegals were granted amnesty... so that pretty much shot down the effectiveness of the 1986 Act. We all need to hire the politicians we've elected to be accountable.

I have been singing that tune for a while now.
The landlords and employers that enable illegal immigrants to remain in this country should be fined up the @$$! Money speaks in this day and age, not prison. Cost someone major dollars, and they tend to comply.
It is rather easy to comply with the law, if one chooses to do so. I think that ignorance in this instance isn't bliss, and it isn't an excuse for breaking the law. Never has been, never should be.

I agree that we have to put those who hire illegal aliens into jail. Probably for more like 10 years though. On top of that we really need to secure the border because on top of undocumented workers flowing over there could be terrorists too.
