I'm 5' 8". I think our ideal weight is supposed to be somewhere between 145 and 155. When I was 16, I weighed 160.
If you're healthy, I'd say you're fine. You probaby have a very high metabolism from playing sports. You might want to consider some weight training to put on a few pounds. Talk to a coach at school, a trainer at a gym and/or a doctor before you try to bulk up too much.

that's a good weight/height ratio. Although you could use and extra 15-20 lbs. but it's no biggie. In the off season you'll gain weight because your metabolism slows down. I am the same height as you but i way 145. You're 16, wait until you're 18 and all that will change. You'll gain a few inches in height and a few pounds.

That does seem a little bit skinny to me. You should weigh around 150-160 to me.

Thats kind of hard to answer.
Depending on what type of sport you participate in. You would want to adjust your weight accordingly.(Football=more heavier,Wrestling=more lighter)
But according to to national BMI(body mass index chart) (The chart to help dieticians determine if you are overweight or not) you are right on the money.

based on your height you should be between 140-145, but can also depend on your bone size. You want to try to make most of this weight muscle, not fat. remember muscle weighs more than fat.

yea thats about right for your age i'm 25 5'10 and 185-190 now
and was right about where your at now at that age i think i was about 5-10 pounds heavier i played ice hockey though so they wanted us to get all beefed up and add weight

Your weight sounds fine. In the next few years, you'll probably bulk up more, but you're within your weight category.
