I am concerned about your neck hurting...where are your parents? You need to call them or a family member because you need to be seen by a doctor. Call them right now.

Do NOT put any part of your body in freezing water. This will give you chills. Do not take a "bunch" of NyQuil or drink whiskey. Shame on the person who said that to a 14 year old. Just call your parents...you'll be glad you did.

Starting with the headache, stop staring into the monitor and close your eyes and rub little circles in the temples of your forehead ever so gently and at first,slowl-l-y.You should only lay down if your in the mood for sleep or something else.I suggest trying to leave off all sugar and stimulants.Mabey try some soft music and eat small amounts of dairy or yogurt at a time.Feel like trying to move the fever?Excersise your lungs with three part breathing.Imagine your filling up a bottle with air that's your lungs!Picture the breath coming in from the top of your head and proceeds to fill one third of the lungs the bottom parts, then the next or middle third, and the top.Practice the beats of two counts out for every one count in.And try eating some favirite green vegetable after washing
it first and if desired, cooking it slow in a small amount of water.I hope you'll start being better if not already,REAL SOON!

There isn't a whole lot that can be done to relieve flu symptoms, but any of the cold medications (like nyquil, contact, etc) have a couple of ingredients that help with the headaches by keeping your sinuses from clogging up. The antihistamines in these products also make it easier to sleep. Ask your parents if they can get this medicine for you, or maybe one of your friends could buy a box on their way home from school.

Sounds like it could be pneumonia or the flu. See if you can contact your parents and go to your doctor or emerg or clinic. If not, try to get a pk of Halls (green ones work best for me), rub vics on your chest, back and neck, stay on a clear fluid diet (drink lots), take some ibuprofen..ie: Motrin(about 400mg), take a luke warm bath, get into some nice warm cozy jammies, leave a note on the table for your parents, and rest, rest, rest. You never mentioned if you have diarreha or vomiting? Hope this helps and your feeling better soon.

I could not find an American free health hotline, so try calling this Canadian number and tell them your symptoms.

You have tonsillitis as well as it may be viral flu too. Where is your Mom & Dad? Are they dead? If not how the hell they left you in this condition. I am a doctor & i would have prescribed you the medicines but how will you get it? Last but not least if you know than gargle 6 times a day till you are releaved and you can take Erythromycin 500mg twice a day. Look son i am an indian & we never leave our child for another person to take care of. I am just crying and my wife also is in the same state after reading your question. How a couple can lewave their child in this condition.

Sounds lke the flu. Rest and staying hydrated is the best. If the cough gets anyworse you need to see an M.D. as it can turn into pneumonia. Take a nice warm bath to aid in breaking up the congestion. Take tylenol or motrin for aches and pains.

If you are that sick you need to call one of your parents and tell them how sick you are and that you need some help. You need someone to help take care of you if you can barely walk. Take some ibuprofen or naproxen for the aches and pains and take some cough medicine till someone can get home to help you out. If you don't have cough medicine or cough drops in the house take a teaspoon of honey in a little cup and add a drizzle of hot water until it is the same consistency of cough medicine and drink this to help coat your throat.
