About 12 or 14 should be good, you could consider double spacing as well, depending on the size of the document, you need to make it easy to read

size 12 is too small try size 13 it looks more better. size 12 makes the writing look all crowded but size 13 spaces it out a bit more.

12 is the standard, but you should also think about margin width and line spacing, I would tend to use1 and a half spaces between lines and an extra line between paragraphs. It depends what your tutor/lecturer prefers unless this has been in your course guidance.
