Hookup of VCR to DVD Recorder:

Yellow RCA cable from video out of VCR to video in of DVD. Red RCA cable from right audio output from VCR to right audio input of DVD. White RCA cable from left audio output from VCR to left audio input of DVD.

Hookup of DVD Recorder to TV (in order to see what you are dubbing):

Yellow RCA cable from video out of DVD to video in of TV. Red RCA cable from right audio out of DVD to right audio in of TV. White RCA cable from left audio out of DVD to left audio in of TV.

HOWEVER, this may or may not work. Why? Macrovision encoding. If there is macrovision encoding on any of your tapes this may prevent you from copying the tape to the DVD - or at least make the copy unwatchable.
